Nothing limits your options more than just focusing on a small number of schools.  Just because you’re interested in a school does not mean they’re interested in you.  They are looking at hundreds, even thousands of athletes each year for a limited number of spots.  The more schools that you are communicating with, the more offers you will eventually receive.  If you target a large number of schools you are more likely to have options to choose the best school for you.
