Most college recruiters have orders to tell a student athlete what they want to hear when they come to camps; you will hear things such as,
1. “You do good work out there…”
2. “Keep up the effort…”
3. “I like what I see…”
4. “We will be in touch with you…”
5. “You just might get an offer from us…”
The truth is, you may be like so many student-athletes that have heard the same this year. Schools do not want a bad reputation. Based on the numbers, the recruiters will turn down more kids than they will give scholarships.
